Dia-Stop is a single use device designed to create haemostasis in the puncture sites established for haemodialysis treatment.

• It has a unique bridge design that ensures that no pressure is applied to a substantial part of the circumference of the arm. This eliminates the risk of stasis/interruption of the blood flow.

• Furthermore the pressure cushion of the Dia-Stop is made of soft foam materials and includes a pressure indicator. 

• Compression of the dark cushion to less that half thickness indicates a suitable pressure is applied on a average patient.

Description

EXIT-PRO AG SoftTouch 

Exit-site dressing with pre-cut silver ion-releasing anti-adherent film for the catheter exit, applied on a transpiring non-woven patch coated with siliconebased hypoallergenic adhesive gel with “SoftTouch” technology.

INTENDED USE

Complete dressing of the insertion points of intravascular devices. It does not require the use of secondary dressings. Compatible with all types of catheters of standard use.

INDICATION

The dressing performs a double action:

• the silver ion-releasing film has an immediate and longlasting antimicrobial action, helping to reduce the risk of local infections of exit-site and tunnel as well as the sepsis associated with the use of intravascular devices.

Specific for the Exit-Site dressing.
